For more information on forfeiting exams please visit our exemptions FAQs section.

BSc eligibility 5 year rule

The BSc programme start dates will occur every March and September starting from March 2026.

From when you intend to start the BSc, we need to check if five years or more will have passed since:

a)  your first ACCA exam pass, or

b)  the achievement of the qualification that provided you with eligible exemptions (if applicable), or

c)  your Foundations in Accountancy transfer date (if applicable)

Please make sure you've read the guidance above

If you passed your first ACCA exam or achieved a qualification that provided you with eligible exemptions more than five years ago, unfortunately, you aren’t eligible to apply for the BSc programme.

However, upon completion of the ACCA Qualification, you’ll still have the opportunity to achieve an academic qualification with the University of London. Their MSc Professional Accountancy is available to all ACCA affiliates and members.
